Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health & Life’s Behavioral Management and Clinical Review teams utilize nationally developed guidelines and policies to determine the appropriateness of behavioral health services. The health plan has transitioned from MCG and ASAM to InterQual Guidelines for dates of service beginning April 16, 2024.
