Fall Baked Apples

Ingredients:

6 Granny Smith or Gala Apples

½ cup raisins

¼ cup chopped walnuts

2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (for serving)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Remove the core from the apple and sprinkle the hollowed apple with cinnamon.
  3. Mix raisins, walnuts, and honey or maple syrup together and fill each apple with mixture.
  4. Place apples in a baking dish with a thin layer of water on the bottom to prevent sticking or burning
  5. Bake 20-30 minutes, until apples are soft.
  6. Serve with vanilla Greek yogurt, if desired.
